In partnership with the Alabama State Department of Education, the AdvancEd Connect Conference will be held on October 1-2, 2019, at Frazer Memorial Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

9/4/2019 Teens in grades 7-12 can apply in 29 categories of art and writing for a chance to win scholarships and have their work exhibited and published. The submission portal is open from September 12, 2019-December 12, 2019.


Empathy and Empowerment Through Discourse

Brainspring: Structures Level 1 Course

9/2/2019 The UA/UWA Regional In-Service Center will host a Brainspring Structures Level 1 Orton-Gillingham Course on November 18-22. This 5 day/30 hour training is designed for 6-12 teachers, instructional coaches, intervention, and resource.
