The Technology in Motion Program at the UA/UWA In-Service Center announces a NEW ACLD-approved Technology PLU offering. “Technology Topics for 21st Century Administrators: Best Practices” will be offered for our administrators and teachers with administrative certification during the Spring 2015 Semester. We will have 2 cohorts for the PLU. One group will meet in Tuscaloosa, and the other group will meet in Demopolis. There will be 3 required face to face meetings and one virtual meeting for each group. The meetings will be from 4 PM until 7 PM, and there will be short readings, discussion posts, a job-embedded task, and an implementation plan to complete between each meeting in Moodle. Registration is via STIPD (https://pdweb.alsde.edu). The PD Title is Technology Topics for 21st Century Administrators: Best Practices, and the PD Title # is PLUACLD278. The deadline to register is Friday, January 30, 2015.
There is no cost to participate in this PLU. This is the first time that this specific PLU will be offered in the UARIC Region.
