Edcamp Tuscaloosa – October 31

This innovative professional learning opportunity returns to Tuscaloosa in October. Please see the message from the Edcamp Tuscaloosa organizers below. It is open to educators from any system at any level.

Edcamp Tuscaloosa is back on October 31, 2015, for its second year, and the EdCamp team is so excited to bring together community members eager to discuss teaching and learning!

Edcamp is often referred to as an “un-conference.” This day of participant-driven learning is free from many of the trappings of typical conference experiences like vendors, registration fees, and dividing lines between presenters and participants. Rather than determining program details months in advance, EdCamp organizers opt for more flexibility, allowing participants to take the lead in identifying what topics will be discussed throughout the day.

The team hopes that Edcamp Tuscaloosa includes voices representing a cross-section of our learning community. Educators serving students at all levels, pre-service teachers, parents, and students are all welcome.  They want you there, sharing your expertise and passions and asking your questions to help our community grow!

The day will run from 8:00 to 3:30 at Rock Quarry Middle School and will include breakfast, lunch, and a closing session with door prizes.  Join Edcamp Tuscaloosa for a great day of learning and powerful conversations!
