ANNOUNCEMENT
The National Board has changed the eligibility requirements to begin the process of National Board Certification. We are opening up access to educators interested in the Board certification process by allowing candidates to begin the process of Board certification before completing three (3) years of successful teaching (or counseling for the School Counseling certificate area). While this change allows candidates to begin the process earlier, educators will need to complete three years of teaching employment to become Board-certified.
2024 ALSDE National Board Scholarship Application is currently closed. Applicants will be notified in May regarding results. Look for the 2025 scholarship application to be posted in January 2025!
