KLN
POWERFUL CONVERSATIONS NETWORK (PCN)

The Powerful Conversations Network (PCN) is a school and/or district team network comprised of 159 schools in 38 districts. Through just-in-time professional learning and intentional networking, PCN members are exposed to effective teaching practices. The 2019-2020 guiding text is All Learning is Social and Emotional: Helping Students Develop Essential Skills for the Classroom and Beyond (Frey, Fisher, & Smith). The PCN meets four times per year.  The fourth meeting is an Instructional Round held at schools across the state. Administrators receive an ACLD-approved PLU for full participation; teachers receive CEU hours. Contact Dr. Holly Morgan at hgmorgan@ua.edu for more information regarding the 2019-2020 calendar.
